Allyson participated in an art class over the summer at the Indianapolis Art Center.  They learned about Manga Illustration.  She received the "Attention to Detail & Overall Art Star" award.  Here are some images of her work from the class.

Allyson's main goal for Christmas was to get a new drawing tablet.  We splurged and bought her the tablet of her dreams! She has not put it down since she got it. Seems to be a pretty good investment so far. Here are some of the latest drawings using her Wacom Cintiq drawing tablet. 

Superintendent's Art Competition, February 5th, 2018

Allyson was chosen to represent her school in the Superintendent's Art Competiton on Monday, February 5th, 2018. There was only one person per each school invited to participate. Although she did not win the competition, we are so proud of her!
